My name is Kristy Wilson and I am so excited to be part of UNC Charlotte’s Camps on Campus as the Program Manager of Youth Programming! I have a background in the traditional K-12 teaching setting, specifically I was a Special Education teacher at the middle school level. I also have an extensive background in summer camps, youth programming and coaching.
I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master's Certificate in Distance Education Administration, my Master of Arts in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University; and I am currently persuing my doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration also at East Carolina Univeristy.
One of my favoite parts of camp is watching the education, engagement and personal growth of our campers throughout the summer! We truly have some of the best instructors, counselors and staff out there and I know this will only continue to grow!
Hi! My name is Taylor Faulkner and I am proud to be a part of Camps on Campus for my 5th summer. I first started as a counselor while I attended UNC Charlotte. The following two summers I came back as lead counselor and have been so grateful to be asked back as Associate Director this summer!
I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Elementary Education. This fall I will be going into my third year of teaching (my heart and soul) first grade. I am passionate about working with students and their families. I am from the beautiful mountains of NC. In my free time I enjoy cooking, watching Netflix, being outdoors, and relaxing.
I look forward to working with you and your family this summer. Go Niners!
My name is Nafis Muhammad, and I am looking forward to another fun summer ahead with UNC Charlotte’s Camps on Campus! I began working with the program as a counselor several years ago, and recently became the Associate Director. I enjoy working with Camps on Campus because I think it is the perfect mix of fun and educational opportunities.
I graduated from UNC Charlotte and currently teach at First Ward Elementary School in Charlotte.
Every summer is a new experience, and it always exciting to me. The fun thing about working with children is that they are so unpredictable that you never know what they might say or do.
