Carlos McCray

Greetings, everyone! I’m Carlos McCray (He/Him), and I’m absolutely thrilled to step into the role of Associate Director for the Camps on Campus Program this summer! As a proud Charlotte native, I’m deeply passionate about my community and dedicated to making a positive impact on the youth in this area.

I received my undergraduate degree from East Carolina University (Class of 2014) and I’ll be receiving  my Masters in School Administration from UNC Charlotte in May. I bring a wealth of experience working with youth, having served as a summer camp counselor for the YMCA, been involved with the Boys and Girls Club, and spent the last seven years as a Physical Education teacher for CMS.

Nothing brings me greater joy than collaborating with families and like-minded dedicated adults to create fun, engaging, and memorable experiences for the youth. I’m excited to meet everyone this summer and create a wonderful camp experience for all!
