Veronica Spikes

Hello everyone!! I’m Veronica Spikes (she/her/hers) and I am so excited about joining the Niner family as an Associate Director of the Camps on Campus Program.  As a proud UNC-Charlotte alum, I can not wait to step back on campus to help create a memorable summer and experience for our campers.

I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with my Bachelors and returned for my Graduate Teaching Certificate.  In my current position I’m an 8th grade Social Studies teacher for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.  I am the mother of a rising Junior and a 7 year old fur baby.  My  previous experience working with youth consists of coaching, tutoring and participating in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I enjoy spending time with my family and a good movie night.  I am also a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.

I am a firm believer in communication and building relationships, so  I can not wait to meet our families and campers this summer!!! Go Niners!!!
